Balanced Beginnings Lactation

Breastfeeding can be hard; I am here to help. My ultimate goal is advocating and supporting you through your breastfeeding journey. As a pediatric and prenatal chiropractor for the past decade I have had the privilege of caring for moms and babies. As I cared for these families, women began to discuss breastfeeding with me and I realized that there was a need for this type of care. This, combined with my own personal struggles with breastfeeding grew a desire to become a lactation consultant. I received my bachelor's degree in nutrition from Oklahoma State University and my doctorate in chiropractic from Cleveland University - Kansas City. I then went on to become certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics. Following this, I became board certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners. I am continuously learning and growing. My husband and I have two amazing children, 1 dog, and 2 cats.
